Looking for a job or a career change? Join us at the recently inaugurated Eastside Education & Training Center located in the City’s Eastside on Wed, Jan 18th at 1:00 p.m. for the MLK Job Fair. Have the opportunity to save time and meet with over 30 employers of the metropolitan area including small and large businesses.
Join San Antonio Fighting Back, the Office of Eastpoint, SAPD, Bexar County District Attorney's Office, FBI, and other partners in a screening of the documentary "Our Divided City," followed by a panel discussion on efforts to both reduce Eastside violence and bridge the gap between the justice system and community.
The Eastpoint/Promise Zone Video Documentary is a full length film feature about the positive transformation of San Antonio’s Eastside, and the only community in the nation to have received all four White House Neighborhood Revitalization Initiatives.
The annual march is organized and presented by the City of San Antonio Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission and the City of San Antonio. The nearly 3-mile route down Martin Luther King Drive takes participants through San Antonio’s historic East Side in remembrance of Dr. King.
